What is SaudiNIC?

SaudiNIC stands for Saudi Network Information Centre. It is a non-profit entity that is responsible for administering the Saudi domain name space. It was established in 1995 and operated by King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST) until the end of 2006 where the task of operating SaudiNIC moved to the Communication and Information Technology Commission (CITC) according to the Council of ministers decree number 229 date of 08/13/1425 AH. SaudiNIC is responsible of managing the two Saudi ccTLDs: (.sa) and (.السعودية).
